It had been months since Holly J had last seen Declan. She felt bad that she didn’t get to see him when he was in Toronto last time, so when Declan asked her to meet up, she was more than thrilled. Even though she had just broken up with Sav, she still had secret feelings for Declan.

Declan walked up to the Dot, eager to see Holly J. He didn’t want to scare her off again, but he still loved her. He still wanted to be with her. But, he had to be a gentleman ofcourse. Opening the door, he looked around for her. She was at a table near the back, and she was smiling. Her smile was beautiful. His eyes lit up as he walked towards her, and he took a seat across from her. “You look beautiful, Holly J.” He said simply, and folded his hands on the table.
He wasn’t sure if she had the same feelings for him, and with the most recent stunt of his sister he wasn’t sure what had been happening. He didn’t want to talk about Fiona though. As much as he loved her, it was difficult for him. He looked up at Holly J, who was blushing from his recent comment, and gave her a side smile.
Holly J was feeling like an idiot because since Declan had walked through the door, she hasn’t even said one word to him. She got up and gave Declan a hug. “So, how are you?” she asked Declan. “Fine, I’m still not the same without you though.” Declan said to her. Holly J was trying to hide her feelings, she wasn’t ready to tell him that she still had feelings for him. “And you?” Declan asked. Holly J was looking to ground and wasn’t even paying attention. “Holly J?” Declan said to get her attention. “Oh, sorry. I’ve been better.” Holly J said to Declan. “And why is that?” Declan said with concern. “Well I’ve told you about getting sick, but the one thing you don’t know is that I broke up with Sav.” Holly J said while looking straight into Declan’s blue eyes. “Oh, I’m sorry.” Declan said to her. “It’s fine. We were just casual, so it’s not like it was a big deal.” Holly J said.
Declan, smiled and nodded. “I’ve really missed you Holly J. You have no idea.” He said quietly, not loud enough for her to hear. He was still nervous about all of this, and now that he knew her and Sav broke up he was trying his best not to kiss her right then and there. “I want you to know that I’ve changed Holly J. I’m better. And I’m not going to force you into anything, but I want you to know that I still..have immense feelings for you.” he gulped, and watched her changed expression. Without thinking he reached over the table, and grabbed her hand, but quickly let go afterward. “Sorry..” he muttered.
”No..it’s okay. You can hold my hand.” Holly J said to him eventually continueing. “Since we are being honest, I still have feelings for you too. When I was sick, you don’t know how much I wanted to call you, but I thought things would be weird.” Holly J said to him. “I’m really glad you told me this, Holly J” Declan said. Declan grabbed her hands and started to kiss them. Holly J laughed then stood up and leaned across the table to kiss him on the lips. She pulled away and smiled at him. Declan smiled back and said, “You don’t know how much I’ve missed that.” “I’ve missed that too.” Holly J said back to him. “So does this mean we are back together?” Declan asked nervously. “I guess we are.” Holly J said with a smile.
Declan, grinned and looked into Holly J’s eyes. “Your so amazing. I can’t tell you how happy, I really am right now. I love you so much.” he said in a serious tone. “I love you too. And, I’m really happy right now too.” Holly J said, smiling. He felt as if everything were coming into place again. He stood up quickly, and walked over to her side of the table and slid in the booth next to her. His arm was now around her, and there legs were touching. He missed being close to her, having her in his arms. He was happy to have that back. He kissed his girlfriend’s cheek and whispered into her ear quietly. “You know..I’ve been thinking. Since it’s Spring Break, maybe you’d like to come with me to New York? Have some time to reconnect?” he grabbed her hands and held them in his, waiting for an answer.
”I would love too” Holly J said to him. She smiled then went into a kiss to her boyfriend’s lips. “I’m so glad to hear you say that.” Declan said to her. “Well I’m glad I get to take a break for a bit!” Holly J said while laughing. Declan smiled at her. He couldn’t understand how lucky he had gotten. He went to The Dot to get Holly J’s respect and now he has her back. Today was a good day for him. “So do you want to hang somewhere, other than The Dot?” Declan asked Holly J. “Whatever you want to do.” Holly said to him. “I think we should take an adventure” Declan suggested. “Great idea.” Holly J said. The two kissed than walked out of The Dot. Declan’s arm was around Holly J, just the way he liked.
“So where to my lady?” he asked, as they walked out of the cafe. “Anything is fine with me.” Holly J, replied. He thought for a moment, and whistled for a cab, that soon pulled up. He opened the door for her, and smiled as she got in. He got in after her, and put his arm back around her, pulling her close to him. “Well.. How about we go to the park? We could sit, in the Sun and just..talk.” he said quietly, and grinned when she nodded her head yes. He told the cab driver where to go, and he sat back in the leather seat, and looked to Holly J. “So..why did you and Sav break up, anyway?” he asked her. “Oh..Just..wasn’t feeling it.” she replied, and he nodded. The cab soon pulled up by the park, and Declan got out and held the car door open for her. He closed it behind her, grabbed her petite hand and made his way to one of the benches, the park held and sat down with her.
